First time going to perch for brunch rather than dinner and I have to say I think I prefer brunch! We ordered a variety of things for our table to share including French toast, charcuterie, shrimp spaghetti and huevos rancheros. My favorite was the French toast, it might even be the best French toast I have ever had. The views and service were amazing like always. The bar opened at 12 so we went upstairs after our brunch to look around.

Located in the beautiful and historic Pershing Building, I have always wanted to eat here. It did not disappoint. We came up without a reservation on a Thursday night after attending the Pershing Square Art Show. Atmosphere - - a little loud - try to sit inside because the weather can be chilly although patio heaters are abundant - view is really ALL THAT. the view is fabulous - live music. wonderful singer and band Service - - fantastic Food - - everything was better than expected. You think the hype is all about the view but the food equals that! - truffle fries - a must order. very pungent truffle oil flavor. fries are hot and crispy - braised pork belly - don't pass this up. probably the best pork belly I have had. crispy skin, not oily, so tender, nicely seasoned and not overly seasoned. Comes with a small very fresh salad - surf and turf kabobs - very good. tender beef with a good sized shrimp. beautiful presentation - sea bass on risotto - always love sea bass and this was tops. the risotto was not too heavy but satisfying. the carmelized carrots were incredibly tender I can't wait to come back and try their famous brunch.

I've had better steak elsewhere PERSONALLY... this was on the chewier side. But with a rooftop view, romantic lighting, and live music... I guess that makes up for it? Came to celebrate a friends birthday and be advised you should always have a reservation- unfortunately we didn't so we had to wait 2+ hrs. Drinks are always good here and our waiters were kind and apologized for the wait.

I've been to this rooftop bar many times at night but my first time coming here for brunch. The brunch food was so good. We ordered the eggs benedict and french toast. The eggs benedict and potatoes were solid. I really enjoyed the french toast too. It was a very filling meal even though we shared it. We sat outside in the patio with a view and it was so nice. I would definitely come back to Perch for their brunch. The reason why I'm taking off one star is because they totally forgot about us. We put our name down and they weren't calling our names even though it has been 30 minutes. There were plenty of seats available during this time. I went up to ask and they forgot and never put our name down. I was a bit disappointed because there were so many servers and not many customers but they still managed to forget the people coming in.

I went to Perch the other night to check out the live performance of a talented artist named Devin Velez. For starters, this restaurant is very good date location. The rooftop views are great, the atmosphere is upscale and chic, and the live musicians are talented. We were greeted politely by the staff and was invited to sit at the indoor bar until our table was ready. They had unfortunately run out of ginger ale at the bar, but the bartender was polite about it. The food was pretty good for the price; admittedly I wasn't blown away but the rib eye steak was tender and the pesto gnocchi was pretty tasty. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely come back. Parking along the street was limited, but there was valet available for $14. Shoutout to Brett who was very personable and represented the staff at the restaurant very well.

I came here for my birthday dinner and the ambiance made my experience even more special. We were seated outside and the views were incredible, although it was a bit chilly. There were heat lamps outside and at the rooftop bar so that helped a lot. Our waiter always checked up on us and was really efficient with getting us what we need. The food was also great, as we got the charcuterie appetizer with drinks (the berry was my favorite), and the braised beef and steak frites. We were so full by the end of our meal, but they surprised me with a happy birthday ice cream at the end. I had a great time here and I'll definitely come again to check out their brunch.

Cute restaurant that encompasses LA! Had a reservation for 6:30PM and was seated promptly. It's a French inspired menu and it is pretty small. I got the Chilean Sea Bass and my friend got the Roasted Chicken. I loved the sea bass! It was so good and filling. The chicken was also surprisingly moist. The views of LA can't be beat! The tables are pretty close together so you can hear other people's conversations.

We had a dinner at Perch on Valentine's Day (Wednesday). We made the reservation 2 days ahead with the time at 6:30pm. Got our seats right after arriving. We sat outside with DTLA view, which was not bad. We tried their Valentine's Day menu, which includes 4 courses with $135 per person. The price was acceptable since it's on Valentine's Day. The food was quite good here. First Course: Chefs Selection of Fromage & Charcuterie was great with a big portion. I actually felt a little bit full after finishing the first course. Second Course: Ahi Tuna Tartare was delicious. Butternut Squash Soup was great. Warm Goat Cheese Salad was fresh (We ordered this as extra since you can only have 2 picks from this course). Third Course: Chilean Seabass was excellent! Filet Mignon was good, but a little bit too salty for me. Dessert: White Chocolate Bread Pudding was great with a big portion. Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee was great. The view was great! But the seats are very crowded for 2 people, I can't barely move my chair. The service was great! But there were 3 different servers serving our table for some reason. I recommend signing just one server for certain areas to keep consistent. There was a live band performing on our floor, which was nice! Overall, we enjoy our Valentine's Day dinner at Perch LA. And will come back
